Hey Guys & Gals,
The holidays are a busy time at airports! You’re either welcoming in family and friends or going to visit them yourself. With all the rules in airport security, it’s hard to determine what’s allowed and what isn’t, but here’s our list of holiday travel must haves you need in your carry on (and are TSA approved!)
Whether you live in a dry/cold climate, or not, airplane air wreaks havoc on lips and skin. So definitely make sure that your carry on has your favorite chapstick or lip balm… and lotion if it’s 3 ounces or less! Your skin will thank you.
A Short Book
Plane rides are a great opportunity to knock out a book. Pick one that you can finish in under 2 hours (or however long your flight is!) so that when you land, you’ll feel accomplished. Or opt for a book that’s twice as long and read half on your way in, half on your way back home!
Refillable Water Bottle
You’ll have to empty it before security, but there are plenty of water fountains to fill it up again when you’re on the way to your gate. Buying water bottles at the airport is expensive! Besides, you’ll use it during your trip, too!
If you’re like me, you like to zone out on your own when you’re by yourself on a flight. Headphones are great for music, audio books, or just signaling that you want to be left alone.
Ultimately, what you bring in your carry on is a reflection of who you are and what you like to do. What would you bring in your carry on over the holidays?
